Traditional Old Time Dancing
Come dance with us! Recreational dancing stimulates the brain, exercises the body, and enhances social connections. Drawn from American, British, Irish, and European traditions, these dances use simple steps and patterns, and take the form of circles, lines, or around-the-room pairs. Learning old-time dances means learning about cultures as well. You’ll learn a variety of dances. It will help you develop skills, exercise your memory, and meet new friends. New dancers are very welcome. No experience is necessary, and there is no need to come with a partner.
Kate Shoupe and Richard Allen have been dancing together for many years, and they enjoy teaching and dancing with others.
There is a 26-person limit.
Meet in the Greencroft Community Center in the Aerobics Room.
