Paintings of the European Renaissance: Glorious, Blessed, and Powerful
The European Renaissance often holds a charmed place in our popular imagination, and its artists are central to that perception. This four session class will examine 15th and 16th century painters, their groundbreaking art, and the broader historical and cultural contexts that helped the Renaissance give birth to the modern world.
Taught by Goshen College emeritus Professor of Art who taught Art History in addition to studio classes in Painting, Drawing, and Graphic Design.
