Our Amazing Bodies and How They Work, or Don’t — Revisited
This is a follow up on the course that was taught three years ago. Some of the fascinating questions we’ll explore include: How does a dentist’s injection numb your teeth? How do humans tan? How do COVID vaccines work? How do fingernails grow? What is peripheral neuropathy? These and many other questions will be answered as retired anatomist Jep Hostetler, Ph.D., guides us through the wonders of the human body. He’ll use visual aids, including images and videos, and engage in interactive learning. Come and wonder as we wander through the body.
Classes are held in the Jennings Auditorium at Greencroft Goshen Community Center.
