About this Class
Social dancing stimulates the brain, exercises the body, and enhances social connections. In Old Time Dancing, partners move through a sequence of steps to waltz, two-step, swing, polka, foxtrot, and other dance music. This class will introduce you to Old Time dances and help you develop skills and confidence in dancing. New dancers are very welcome, and all dancers will have the opportunity to learn from each other—no need to come with a partner.

Instructors
Your instructors are Kate Shoupe and Richard Allen, who learned these dances in Scotland over the past 40 years. Some dances we enjoy: Gordon Two-Step, Broadway Foxtrot, St Bernard Waltz, Viennese Swing, Circassian Circle, and Chicago Swing.
