Navigating Your Grandchildren’s Sexual and Gender Landscape

Taught by Keith Graber Miller

Sept. 3, 5, 10, 12 | 2-3:30 p.m.

Perplexed by hearing your grandchildren and great-grandchildren mentioning gender and sexuality realities that weren’t previously a part of your vocabulary? This four-session course will address the various dimensions of heterosexual, cisgender and LGBTQIA2S+ dynamics, focusing on sexual orientations and gender identities but also addressing polyamory and other contemporary relational practices. Novices as well as seasoned navigators are welcome. Taught by Goshen College emeritus Professor of Religion Keith Graber Miller, a long-time sexuality
educator, the course draws on sociological, political, theological and biblical perspectives and is designed to provide tools for meaningfully conversing with younger family members and friends.
