Midwinter Lecture – “Greencroft, The Dream, The Vision, The Purpose, The Program”
We will take a closer look at the early years, the dream and vision of Greencroft by Eighth Street Mennonite Church and their pastor Robert Hartzler. Gene will tell the story how the early leaders became the founders of Greencroft Goshen. With pictures and PowerPoint Gene will show us how the Dan Schrock Farm and the Dierdorff Farm were transformed into the beautiful Greencroft Goshen Campus which is home to nearly 1,100 senior citizens.
Gene worked for Greencroft from March 1974 to July 2004. The last 23 years as CEO and President of Greencroft Inc.
