DESERT, DREAM, DESIRE
DESERT, DREAM, DESIRE will be a reflective class that encourages participants to do some of their own soul work during this Easter season. There will be some time for personal reflection on and sharing of the Deserts of our lives — emptiness, loneliness, grieving; our Dreams, both waking and sleeping; and our Desires—motivations, purpose, sexuality. Dr. Friesen taught Marriage and Family Counseling in Fresno, CA, for 35 years. She brings a cross-cultural, therapeutic, and pastoral approach to the questions and joys of life. Scripture, poetry, and spiritual/psychological writings will be used to explore these themes.
