Christian Disunity: The Science of Barriers to “Love thy Neighbor”

Taught by Duane Kauffmann

Sept. 16, 18, 23, 25 | 2-3:30 p.m.

Of the New Testament Christians it was commanded, “so you must love one another.” Of twenty-first century Christians it might be said, “Behold how they disagree, bicker, accuse, and split.” During these four sessions we will explore research findings from genetics, neuroscience, social, personality, and social psychology which help to shed understanding on this contemporary splintered religious milieu. Duane Kauffmann retired from Goshen College after 40 years of teaching.
