Acting Up: Mennonite playwrights take the stage!
Lauren Friesen will teach a four-session class on Mennonite playwrights with special attention to the European beginnings and contemporary writers. He is the editor of the six-volume series on Mennonite plays and will highlight recent trends in Mennonite playwriting. The series is titled Acting Up: Anthology of Mennonite Playwrights (1970-2025) and will be published by GP (Ontario) and Pandora Press (Ontario). Lauren Friesen is the David M. French Professor Emeritus of Theatre at the University of Michigan.
