A Masala of Indian Films
Western audiences tend to be familiar with the Bollywood “boy meets girl and bursts into song and dance” films, so our dive into some of the more revered films or controversial critical successes will seek to give Indian film the serious attention it deserves. In order to understand the significance of these films, we will be hearing from members of the Indian audience who will be interviewed especially for our series.
